What is Sled for Hope?

Sled for Hope is a 40-mile snow machine ride that raises money for Adult & Teen Challenge’s addiction recovery programs and services across Alaska. Individuals and teams commit to raising a monetary sponsorship goal to participate. This is a full-day event that includes breakfast, lunch, checkpoint prizes, and a banquet dinner where fundraising winners will be announced.

When is Sled for Hope?

Sled for Hope is on Saturday, March 13th, 2021. Check-in and breakfast are at 8:00 a.m. on the day of the event and starts at 9:00 a.m. The event will end around mid-afternoon the same day. At 6:00 p.m. the same day, there will be a banquet dinner where prize winners will be announced.

How do I register an individual or team for Sled for Hope?

How much does Sled for Hope cost?

There is a $50 registration fee. Upon registration, you will be asked to commit to a sponsorship goal to raise money for the cause prior to the event.

How do I raise sponsorship for Sled for Hope?

After you register, you will be provided with a sponsorship page that you can share with your family, friends, and coworkers via text, email, or social media to raise support! Simply copy the URL you are given and paste it into the text, email or post asking for support.

Do I need to own a snowmachine to participate?

Yes, you will need a snow machine to participate. If you do not have a snow machine, you can contact Alaska Toy Rentals for information on renting one. 

What prizes can I win at Sled for Hope?

Besides the reward of supporting addiction recovery in Alaska, Sled for Hope participants get the chance to win a Ski-Doo snowmobile if they raise the most sponsorship out of all other Sled for Hope participants (must raise over $5000). Checkpoint prizes are available but have yet to be announced.
